Most business processes and consumer applications involve aspects of: knowledge, reasoning, planning, communication or perception - progress in AI has unlocked significant new capabilities. We explored how customers would feel about sharing their data with an AI powered travelling service. We created a hypothetical new AI-powered travel service to explore what effect AI could have on travel. I presented this to an audience at the Royal Aeronautical Society in London.

When my team came to me with an idea of creating a new tool to help product designers, I was all for it. The team and I worked on “Tarotelling”, a tool inspired by the tarot to help designers envision current and future user journeys. I presented a workshop on the tool at UX Live - sharing it with the design community.

Having used the tool with a few clients, I decided it would be great to share Business Origami with the wider design community. UX Live presented the perfect opportunity to do just that. All of the attendees enjoyed the workshop and the chance to create their own systems using the tool. One group even documented the process of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory!
